Big Print Blog

Why are we calling this blog "Big Print"?

Because we want to shed some light on the small print you see in financial documents. By pulling back the curtain on how a credit card company really works, we can work together to be better.

Charity Partner Update
Barclays Ring Public Blog

StJudeChildrensHosp.JPGWhile the news about our 7th Giveback period wasn’t very good, we are thrilled to announce that the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital was the winner for this Giveback period. It was a super close vote (as you can see by the chart below).

Since this Giveback period was, well, a major letdown (to say the least), we worked with our community relations team here at Barclaycard and received approval to donate funds to each of the five finalists!

The referral pool, which  in the past was approved by vote to be used for the donation to the charity winner when there was no Giveback pool, totals $1,010. This amount, and a matching amount from Barclaycard, will enable us to donate $2,020 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (yay!).

And…drum roll please….Barclaycard Ring will be donating $1,000 to each of the four remaining charity finalists. We were optimistic that this 7th period of Giveback was going to be our biggest yet, but that wasn’t quite the case…we ARE thrilled that we could support our community members’ nominations and votes for these charities through multiple donations.

And, we're thrilled to update everyone that the 6th Giveback charity donation to the Wounded Warrior Project will be $7,700!!

Any updates from each of the five charities will be shared in the community after they receive their donations! Feel free to share your comments on our BarclaycardUS Facebook page. Thank you!
